Lando Norris, current McLaren driver alongside new teammate Oscar Piastri, recently appeared on the Quadrant's YouTube show where he was asked about his future plans in F1. While Norris stated that his future with McLaren is not in question, he did admit that he is "impatient" to be in a championship-winning car, inferring the likes of Red Bull.

During the video, Norris was shown a clip from the Netflix series Drive to Survive where Red Bull team boss Christian Horner commented on Norris' teammate Daniel Ricciardo joining McLaren. Horner jokingly mentioned that he would hate to have Norris as a teammate due to his good looks, driving skills, and sense of humor. Norris laughed off the comment and even admitted to paying Horner for it.

"The fact that he's a good-looking young lad, comfortable driving a car and he is funny; [as a teammate] I would hate that, it couldn't be worse," Horner said in a voiceover.

The three personalities of the video joking that Lando should sign with Red Bull now. And according to GPblog, he is feeling impatient about getting into a championship-winning car such as a Red BullP

"I'm here [at McLaren] for a few more years and that's because that's what I want. I knew beforehand that we wouldn't win championships. I knew it would be an adventure where development and improvement was key, to get there."

Norris seems happy to stay wearing orange for the time being, but with the 2023 season looking like another difficult year for McLaren, he admits: "I'm not the most patient man."
