McLaren driver Lando Norris has shared his helmet design for the upcoming 2023 season and F1 fans are going crazy for it. 

Posting to his Instagram followers, the Belgian-British driver wrote:

"new year, same fluro, more carbon. let's get attttt it" [sic]

McLaren also shared the design, writing:

"The exposed carbon. @LandoNorris’ 2023 helmet, everyone!"

The design has the similar florescent yellow colour scheme to his 2022 helmet but with additional exposed carbon fibre running through it, instead of the blue that fans saw last year. 

Fans shared their excitement for the design and for the upcoming season. Norris is about to embark on his fifth season with McLaren, and in the sport, and is yet to achieve a race win. Many fans are hoping to see the driver achieve this in 2023.

McLaren are set to unveil the MCL60 at an event at 5pm GMT today which will be streamed live to their YouTube channel. Lando Norris is anticipated to feature in the event alongside new teammate Oscar Piastri. It is not yet clear if they will be joined by new team principal Andrea Stella.
