Lewis Hamilton's former performance coach Angella Cullen commented on his brother Nicholas Hamilton's post on Instagram about Cerebral Palsy- a condition he has suffered from since childhood, thus showing how connected she is to Hamilton's circle despite parting ways early this year.

Cullen joined Mercedes in 2016 and played an important role in pushing the British driver to conquer the remaining four championship titles. Their bond was known to be strong and she played a key role in ensuring the seven-time world champion's peak performance.

Fortunately, the official separation has not come in the way of the relationship Cullen shares with Hamilton and his family. When Nicholas shared a touching story of his journey with Cerebral Palsy, she was not far behind in posting an encouraging reply.

The post that was shared on Instagram on World Cerebral Palsy Day read:

"A day when I take time to acknowledge my condition," he wrote. "The severity of my condition, which I so often try to ignore in order for me to live as freely and as independently as possible.

"A day where I realise how far I have come, the magnitude of my achievements and the people I inspire and help as I take them on my journey.

"A day that acknowledges all those that continue to strive to overcome their Cerebral Palsy, those that struggle with their Cerebral Palsy and those that support others through their Cerebral Palsy.

"A day to be proud, to never shy away from the condition, the daily pain and discomfort it presents. Embrace it, live with it and learn to love it."

Cullen showed her support for Nicholas's determination and strong will, and left a short yet powerful comment "GOAT."

Due to his condition, Nicholas faced several challenges in his childhood including bullying. Luckily, his brother Lewis was always there to back him and advise him. He also recalled an instance when Lewis helped transform his wheelchair into something that not only offered good fun but, also empowered him. He revealed:

"I became Tony Hawk in a wheelchair.

"I was like jumping steps, doing wheelies, spinning around.”
