The FIA has been under fire a couple of times already this weekend for safety concerns.

As the Miami Grand Prix weekend got underway yesterday with the first two free practice sessions, fans were quick to pick up on some faux pas from the FIA.

During FP2, Charles Leclerc span out and collided with the wall at Turn 7 putting a red flag on the session. The cars were allowed back on track with four minutes to go, but, fans noticed that the race wall barrier had not been fixed leaving a safety hazard.

However, this was not the only thing that fans picked up on. The Porsche Carrera Cup took place after FP2 and Leclerc's SF-23 was being removed whilst the cars were on the track. Videos were shared to social media of the ridiculous moment.

Formula Nerds shared a video of the moment, with the caption:

"This shouldn't happen... should it!"

Another Twitter user made the connection to the horrendous pit lane incident at the end of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix last weekend when photographers and other staff members were allowed to flood the pit lane whilst the race was still going. Esteban Ocon had to go in for his mandatory pitstop only to be met by the crowd. Thankfully, the French driver was able to brake in time and no one was hurt. The Twitter user posted:

"Last week it was the Ocon pit lane incident, this week it’s this"

Someone else posted with the same video footage:

"Safety concerns at #MiamiGP! Tow truck with Leclerc's crashed car followed by Porsche Carrera Cup cars."

Here is a round-up of some of the comments left by fans surrounding this.

"Too busy checking whether drivers are wearing jewelry or not to focus on real safety measures" [sic]
