Oscar Piastri has taken pole position for the Qatar GP Sprint Race later today. Joining Piastri on the front row will be his McLaren teammate Lando Norris who put in the second fastest time during the Sprint Shootout. 

The second row will consist of Max Verstappen and George Russell who went third and fourth fastest, respectively.

Track limits has been an issue throughout the Qatar GP weekend so far and this was a trend that continued through the Sprint Shootout. The extreme winds only heightened this issue for the drivers as well.
