The first two free practice sessions of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix took place yesterday with Max Verstappen putting in the fastest time in each session and his Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez and Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso joining him in the top three.

The qualifying session will take place later today and with all of the times being close together it is set to be an exciting session. The Jeddah street is difficult to perform overtakes on, as seen with a build-up of traffic during the free practice sessions. So, the qualifying result is even more important for the teams and drivers.
