Sebastian Vettel To Drive Some Of The Most Iconic F1 Cars On Track At Goodwood FOS

Recently retired four-time champion Sebastian Vettel is due to return to the Goodwood Festival of Speed with some of his F1 car collection, including the iconic ex-Nigel Mansell 1992 Williams FW14B and ex-Ayrton Senna 1993 McLaren MP4/8.
Many fans have been waiting to find out what Vettel's next move would be after he announced his retirement during the 2022 season. The racing legend had his F1 rookie season with Toro Rosso in 2007 before moving up to Red Bull in 2009 where he won his four consecutive drivers' championships.

The German driver then moved on to Ferrari in 2015 and then again to Aston Martin in 2021 where he retired from.
As well as all of his achievements on track, Vettel also fought for increased awareness over social and environmental issues off track. So, it is no surprise that Vettel will be running his historic F1 cars on sustainable fuel at the Festival of Speed.
Speaking ahead of the event, Vettel explained:
"There is still a race to win.
"It's great to be coming back to Goodwood after all these years.
"I can't wait to get behind the wheel of some of my most memorable cars which will be running on sustainable fuel over the weekend.
"I'm a passionate racer and it's important to me that we continue to enjoy driving iconic racing cars today and in the future, but that we do so in a responsible way."
The Duke of Richmond, chairman of Goodwood, has also commented on welcoming Vettel back to the event. He explained:
"I am enormously excited to welcome Sebastian back to Goodwood this summer.
"I know our fans will be delighted to have an opportunity to celebrate his incredible career and to see him in action on the Hill.
"His attitude towards sourcing alternative fuels absolutely aligns with our plans across the event and the wider Estate to ensure we are shining a light on this important topic and protect motorsport for the next generation."
