Sergio Perez has taken pole position for the Miami Grand Prix in a turn of events that made us pound our feet in excitement. He's followed by Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso, Ferrari's Carlos Sainz, and in fourth, Kevin Magnussen for Haas. What a session and what an exciting start to the weekend.

In a shocking moment, Lance Stroll was out in Q1 after four races of great performance from Aston Martin. Joining Stroll being out in Q1 were both McLaren drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri as well as Yuki Tsunoda and Logan Sargeant.

Lewis Hamilton went out in Q2 in a massive blow for the Mercedes team along with Nico Hulkenberg, Alex Albon, Zhou Guanyu, and Nyck de Vries.

But bringing the whole session to an end, we saw Charles Leclerc spin and hit the wall, forcing a red flag, and leaving the reigning champion Max Verstappen in P9.
