Max Verstappen won the Spanish Grand Prix this afternoon in an impressive grand slam finish, meaning he won from pole position, led every lap of the race, and put in the fastest lap.

The Dutch driver started from pole position and very quickly extended his lead. Behind him, the field was changeable with both Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell putting in great performances.

Lando Norris, who started from third unfortunately suffered from damage to his front wing after contact with Hamilton on the second corner of the opening lap. From then on in, the Belgian-British driver was fighting from the back. 

Joining Verstappen on the podium is Lewis Hamilton and George Russell who have made a fantastic come back following the significant upgrades from the Mercedes team.
