F1 Fans React To Rumours of Alex Albon Replacing Carlos Sainz At Ferrari

Unlike other sports, team transfers for the following season are announced during the current season in Formula One, and as we reach the halfway point of the 2023 race calendar, there are plenty of rumors within the paddocks. 

According to reports, Ferrari have their eyes keen on the possibility of replacing Carlos Sainz with Williams front-man, Alexander Albon.

Numerous people have suggested that Sainz isn't really the issue and that Ferrari may need to look "internally" for a solution. 

Currently in 4th on the Constructor's standings, Ferrari have had a lot of trouble trying to keep with the speedy likes of Red Bull, Mercedes, and the season's surprise, Aston Martin. 

A lot of that has to do with the mechanical issues that has plagued Charles Leclerc, who's suffered a few DNFs and retirements to open the season. Despite these issues, Leclerc has been able to keep up with his teammate, Carlos Sainz, who hasn't been racing his best as of late. 

It has been about a year since the Spaniard picked up his first F1 victory in England. If Sainz wants to put an end to these rumors, he'll have to act quickly. What better place to do so than Silverstone?
