With Nyck de Vries' swift departure from AlphaTauri, there has been even more speculation over other driver moves on the grid and now the focus is on Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc.

Lando Norris has been rumoured to have signed a pre-contract with Ferrari for when his McLaren contract comes to an end. Many also believe that Daniel Ricciardo's return to the Red Bull family at AlphaTauri will be bad news for Sergio Perez whose seat has been questioned by fans this season.

On top of that, there are also rumours about both Ferrari drivers, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz.

Highly-regarded F1 journalist Joe Saward explained in his latest column that Sainz is thought to move to Audi and Leclerc will be moving to Mercedes. He wrote:

"The rumour mill now thinks Carlos Sainz will go off to Audi in 2025 while others think Charles Leclerc will go mad if he stays where he is at Ferrari and that Mercedes would love to have him. I am not saying any of this is true, I am merely pointing out the chitchat."

Both Leclerc and Sainz had shot down previous rumours of team moves, remaining adamant that their dream has always been to drive for the Maranello-based squad. However, this has not stopped fans and insiders from foreseeing a change on the cards. Many believe that Leclerc will replace Lewis Hamilton when the seven-time champion decides he wants to head into retirement, although there is no guessing when that will be at the moment.
