It has been rumoured that two-time F1 champion Max Verstappen could be facing legal problems after a video of him driving an Aston Martin Valkyrie one-handed has gone viral online.

The Dutch driver could be seen driving the Valkyrie, designed by Red Bull's Chief Technical Officer Adrian Newey, whilst using the touch screen.

However, despite some initial praise from excited fans on social media, it has now been rumoured that Verstappen could be prosecuted for "endangering the lives of others". According to the X account, RBR Daily and NiceMatin.com:

Max Verstappen could be prosecuted based on the AMR Valkyrie video for 'endangering the lives of others'.

"At the General Directorate of the National Gendarmerie, a specialized cell tracks down these kinds of videos broadcasted on social networks.

"Also as per the same source, Max was apparently going at 120 KPH on a 90 KPH speed limit."

Nothing has been confirmed on this at the moment and it is worth noting that this is currently just a rumour.

Verstappen will now be gearing up for his home race after the F1 summer break. The Dutch Grand Prix is due to take place this coming weekend with the on track action starting on Friday 25 August. The Dutch driver is currently dominating the 2023 season after winning ten out of the twelve races so far and his Red Bull teammate taking the victory of the remaining two races.

The two-time champion will be looking to continue with his winning streak to take him to his third championship title, which could reportedly be as early as the Qatar Grand Prix.
