It's race week! This Friday is the beginning of the 2023 season with the highly-anticipated Bahrain Grand Prix. The weekend will be kicking off with three practice sessions before qualifying on the Saturday.

After an interesting weekend of pre-season testing, all eyes are on the top three. But who exactly are the top three? Aston Martin have shown impressive performance if their times at Bahrain are anything to go by, and fans are wondering whether they'll be in contention for at least podiums this coming weekend.

At the same time, Ferrari and Mercedes have high hopes with the Maranello squad having an easy time with no issues and plenty of laps. In comparison, Mercedes struggled with setup over the Friday and Saturday, but Sunday saw the team finally getting their heads around the W14 and, while they're not incredibly happy, Toto believes it's a good base to work on.

Red Bull is, as far as we could see from testing, ahead of the rest. The RB19 is running lower and faster than any other car on the grid and its performance behind the wheel of both of its drivers looks formidable. In fact, Sergio Perez took home the fastest lap of the weekend with a 1:30.305 using C4 tyres.
