Saddle bronc riding is a sport that truly captivates the audience. It's an 8-second showdown between a massive bronc and a skilled cowboy that keeps everyone on the edge of their seats with each jump. The Osage Bronc Days PRCA Xtreme Broncs and Ranch Bronc Riding event has been showcasing this incredible sport for four years by bringing together 30 of the Top PRCA bronc riders and local ranch bronc riders to compete on some of the toughest broncs in the world.

The event producer, Heather Blankenship, wanted to pay tribute to this amazing sport and showcase the skill and grit of saddle bronc riding. With the determination to produce the only PRCA Xtreme Broncs event in Oklahoma, she rolled up her sleeves and got to work.

The excitement at the 2024 event, held at the Osage County Fairgrounds in Pawhuska, Okla., on Saturday, April 6, 2024, was intense as always. With $15,000 added to the prize money, competitors arrived with one goal in mind - to win. While a total of eight saddle bronc riders walked away with a check, it was Australian cowboy Jake Finlay who emerged as the winner, taking the top spot on the leaderboard.

Finlay rode Dakota Rodeo's Bobs Alibi, delivering an impressive 89-point ride that earned him $5,048. Currently positioned at No. 24 in the Pro Rodeo World Standings, Finlay is just $8,426 away from breaking into the Top 15. While it's still early in the season, Finlay is making moves and could secure a ticket to his first Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in December.

Hot on Finlay's heels was Iowa bronc rider Tegan Smith, who secured second place with an 87-point ride, earning him a $3,870 check. Taking the third position was two-time NFR qualifier Allen Boore, who scored an 83.5-point ride and clinched a $2,860 check. The Osage Bronc Days PRCA Xtreme Broncs and Ranch Bronc Riding event truly showcased the best of the best in saddle bronc riding.
