The second Wildcard round of Rodeo Houston was an intense affair, with athletes pushing themselves to the limit in their bid to secure a spot in the Championship round on Sunday, March 17. It was a do-or-die situation for the contenders, who gave their all in the arena, leaving spectators on the edge of their seats.

Jr. Dees and Coleby Payne stole the show with their exceptional performance in team roping, clocking the fastest time of the rodeo with an incredible 4.5 seconds. Kassie Mowry also impressed the crowd with her lightning-fast run aboard Famous Ladies Man "Emmitt" in the barrel racing, marking the fastest time of the rodeo with 14.43 seconds.

Garrett Shadbolt's impressive 87-point ride on Pete Carr Pro Rodeo's Night Faded in the bareback riding earned him a spot in the Championship round, while Walt Arnold executed a flawless takedown in the steer wrestling in just 5.1 seconds. Brody Wells dominated the saddle bronc riding with an 87-point ride on Pete Carr Pro Rodeo's Tony Hawk.

In the tie-down roping, Riley Mason Webb clocked in at 8.3 seconds, securing his place in the Championship round. Braden Richardson conquered the bull riding with an 84-point ride on Cervi Championship Rodeo's Mayhem, while Hope Thompson displayed unmatched precision in the breakaway roping, completing her run in a lightning-fast 2.8 seconds.
