As the Professional Bull Riders league grows significantly, the money is starting to talk. PBR events take place in five countries; The United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, and Australia. Today, Canada stands out as they have some exciting news for the riders up North.

PBR Canada announced in 2023 the annual champion's bonus will double the original $50,000, making the overall prize purse $225,000.

Canada's finals are now the richest international finals held by PBR, making it the second-richest finals event globally, behind the PBR World Finals.

The annual Canadian PBR Championship National Finals will be held in Edmonton, Alberta, at 7 p.m. MDT November 17-18.

Following the press conference on Wednesday, Sept. 27 there will be a four-man bull riding exhibition outside of Rogers Place. A pre-show starring Brinson James will begin at 5 p.m. MT, followed by the bull riding at 6 p.m. MT.

Two-time Canada Champion Cody Coverchuk, and the first to be crowned at Rogers Place will be one of the four riding in the exhibition. The other remaining competitors will be Jake Gardner, Garret Green, and Cody Fraser.

The race to the 2023 PBR Canada Championship just got a whole lot more enticing, not just for the money, but to make history.

Nick Tetz, the reigning PBR Canada Champion, is currently at the top of the standings. Not far behind is two-time PBR Canada Champion Cody Coverchuk, just 22.84 points behind.

Tetz is attempting to become the fourth Canadian Champion in history and the first to win the honor in consecutive seasons, while Coverchuk is seeking to make his record-tying third Championship.

Sitting in third overall Canada standings is Dakota Buttar, who is much like Nick Tetz fighting his way to becoming the fourth Canadian in history to win the year-end title multiple times.

Three-time PBR Canada Champion Aaron Roy is looking to accomplish a never-before-seen fourth national title this season.

With the increase in prizes and the potential to make history, connoisseurs of the PBR look forward the outcome at the championship finals.

Isabelle is from a small town in southern Illinois where she grew to love her family, friends, and small-town community. Growing up in a small town, she learned and started her background in agriculture and knowledge of equine and barrel racing. Isabelle spent many years riding and training with her uncle, this allowed her to work with many young futurity prospects. Barrel racing brought her some of her closest friends and her to some of the best opportunities she has been presented in her life. She was a part of 4-H from the time she was in the 3rd grade till her graduating year of high school which allowed her to broaden her knowledge outside of equine.  After graduating high school in 2019 Isabelle moved to Murray, Kentucky where she continued her education at Murray State University. Although she wasn’t a participant on the rodeo team she traveled with the team to most of their events. She also continued to individually compete in barrel racing until 2022. At the start of 2022, she decided to take a break from school to travel and to find what her passion was. She found herself in north Texas. This led her to the opportunity to start and grow with Sports Illustrated Rodeo Daily. She plans to use this opportunity to spread her knowledge and love for the animals and the sport(s) they allow us to engage in.  Instagram: izzyb_brown01
