Thunder Days was full of excitement and cheer Saturday night in Ridgedale, Missouri. Between special guests watching their first PBR teams’ rodeo, the bull riders' accomplishments, and their teams, everyone inside the arena had an evening they’ll never forget.

Hyping up the tough 8-second sport, songwriter, and performer Kid Rock made an appearance in Missouri Saturday night where he talked about his respect and love for the riders and the sport the athletes partake in.

Kid Rock wasn’t the only superstar in Ridgedale Saturday night… Three-time National Football League (NFL) pro linebacker Shawne Merriman, who played for the Chargers and the Bills, came to his very first PBR team event where he got to witness several of the athletes' firsts in the sport.

Kansas City Outlaws didn’t exactly have the night they were hoping for, but Outlaw Cassio Dias was able to get a clean 8-second ride on Mr. Right Now, scoring 89 points to put on the board for the team. Opponents, Carolina Cowboys, ended the round with a total of 171.25 points.

Mercy was not shown between the Gamblers and the Freedom, Austin Gamblers’ first rider out, Dalton Kasel, earned a score of 90.25 on Tulsa Time. Luck just wasn’t on Oklahoma’s side Saturday night with their ending score of 157.75 putting the Gamblers just barely ahead with a total of 176.75.

Arizona Ridge Riders continued their six-streak of wins putting the pressure on Nashville. Ridge Riders' Nick Tetz put them on the scoreboard with an 88.75 on Riser. Teammate Eduardo Aparecido took note of Tetz’s ride and also scored 88.75 on House Fire. Chase Dougherty was able to wrap up the last qualified ride for the Ridge Riders with a big score of 91.75 on Ivy League winning the round for the Arizona Ridge Riders with a total of 269.25 points.

Although Nashville took a loss, rider Mason Moody made his first career-qualified ride for the Stampede with a score of 89 points on the bull Too Tall. Even with the loss for the round, the team still had a teammate to celebrate for his big-time career accomplishment.

Taking out the night, Missouri Thunder absolutely killed it with three of the five rides. Joao Lucas Campos came out on Wilson 2.0 earning an 87.50 for the first ride for the team. Qynn Anderson rode his way to win on Battered and Bruised scoring himself and the team an 87.00.

The highlight at the end of the night was Kade Madsen as he took on Lapua for his first-time career ride of 90 points. The Thunder couldn’t be more proud.

Isabelle is from a small town in southern Illinois where she grew to love her family, friends, and small-town community. Growing up in a small town, she learned and started her background in agriculture and knowledge of equine and barrel racing. Isabelle spent many years riding and training with her uncle, this allowed her to work with many young futurity prospects. Barrel racing brought her some of her closest friends and her to some of the best opportunities she has been presented in her life. She was a part of 4-H from the time she was in the 3rd grade till her graduating year of high school which allowed her to broaden her knowledge outside of equine.  After graduating high school in 2019 Isabelle moved to Murray, Kentucky where she continued her education at Murray State University. Although she wasn’t a participant on the rodeo team she traveled with the team to most of their events. She also continued to individually compete in barrel racing until 2022. At the start of 2022, she decided to take a break from school to travel and to find what her passion was. She found herself in north Texas. This led her to the opportunity to start and grow with Sports Illustrated Rodeo Daily. She plans to use this opportunity to spread her knowledge and love for the animals and the sport(s) they allow us to engage in.  Instagram: izzyb_brown01
