The 24-year-old from Milford, UT, Stetson Dell Wright, continues to rewrite the record books. Joining the PRCA in 2018, Wright has made his mark on the world of professional rodeo during the last five years.

With seven gold buckles already under his belt, Wright told the Cowboy Channel at the 2022 National Finals Rodeo, "Bronc riding humbled me this year, but I will be back next year, and I will walk out of the Thomas & Mack with three Gold Buckles.”

It is clear Wright has been on a mission to add three more world championships to his collection this season. He has broken both the bull riding and all-around regular season earnings record during what rodeo competitors call the "fourth quarter" of the season.

With $403,914 won in the all-around and $324,128 won in bull riding, the rough stock rider shows no signs of slowing down before the NFR.

In 2021, Stetson Wright broke the all-around season earnings record previously set by the king of cowboys, Trevor Brazile in 2015 with $320,482. Since then Wright has broken the glass ceiling every season.

Although he still has a ways to go to catch Brazile's record of 14 all-around world championships, Wright is well on his way with four-consecutive all-around gold buckles already secured.

Wright continues to raise the bar not only in the rough stock, but in the sport of rodeo in general. The PRCA has seen many living legends come through the ranks of professional rodeo, but few this quick and at this age.
