Cheyenne Frontier Days | Cheyenne, Wyo.

Known as the “Daddy of ‘em All,” Cheyenne Frontier Days is one of the oldest and largest rodeos in the world. Held over 10 days in late July, it features top-notch PRCA and WPRA athletes, “Frontier Nights” concerts, a carnival, and an air show. Renowned as the “Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth,” the Calgary Stampede is a ten-day-long celebration blending rodeo action, parades, and musical and cultural performances. While technically a fall rodeo, the Pendleton Round-Up is a can’t-miss rodeo of the year. From Sept. 7-14, Pendleton, Ore., welcomes rodeo fans for the 114th Round-Up. The “Wildest, Richest Rodeo in the West” will be held June 20-29, 2024, in Reno, Nev. Dodge City Roundup Rodeo | Dodge City, Kans.

The Plains of Dodge City, Kans., truly come alive during the Roundup. Snag a ticket and see for yourself! Dodge City welcomes you this year from July 30 to Aug. 4. At its inception in the summer of 1977, the Dodge City Roundup had 175 contestants with a payout of $8,200. In 2019, the rodeo had grown to a payout of over $328,000, making it the richest rodeo in Kansas.

The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo | Las Vegas, Nev.

The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (WNFR) is the pinnacle of rodeo action in the world. Hosted annually by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, the WNFR invites the top 15 contestants in each event to compete for the world championship. Las Vegas is a Cowboy Town during the WNFR.
