Known as the “Daddy of ‘em All,” Cheyenne Frontier Days is one of the oldest and largest rodeos in the world. Held over 10 days in late July, it features top-notch PRCA and WPRA athletes, “Frontier Nights” concerts, a carnival, and an air show. At its inception in the summer of 1977, the Dodge City Roundup had 175 contestants with a payout of $8,200. In 2019, the rodeo had grown to a payout of over $328,000, making it the richest rodeo in Kansas.

The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (WNFR) is the pinnacle of rodeo action in the world. Hosted annually by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, the WNFR invites the top 15 contestants in each event to compete for the world championship. Las Vegas is a Cowboy Town during the WNFR.
