Field for CINCH Timed Event Championship Finals Has Been Set
GUTHRIE, Okla. — The CINCH Timed Event Championship hosted by the Lazy E Arena is coming to a close as the field for the final go-round has been set with the final cut having been made.
All weekend the fast-paced action of one of the most unique events in Western sports has unfolded and now 15 athletes are left standing for a chance at the $100,000 grand prize.
Reigning 2023 champion Cody Doescher has recovered well from his first go-round results and has now ascended up the leaderboard to fifth.
Currently leading the pack with a 262.5 aggregate (total on 20 head) is Paul David Tierney who has multiple event titles to his name.
Here is where things stand with the final 15 athletes slated to partake in Saturday evening's final:

All 15 athletes have earned their space in the final go-round. They aren't crowned the "Ironman" for nothing. Every single cowboy has put their blood and sweat into this over the last 48 hours. Many of them have torn muscles, sprained and dislocated joints and nearly all are exhausted and can be seen limping off the dirt after each run.
It is truly a showcase of some of the toughest cowboys on earth and highlights just what each man must put himself through in order to prepare himself for this type of gauntlet.
It is truly a crown jewel event of the Western sports world.
