Governor's Cup Bareback Riding Brings Major Results in Round 2
Round two of the Cinch Playoffs was a wild ride for the bareback bronc riders.
Jacob Lees and Clayton Biglow turned in 86.5-point rides to split first and second place. Each adding $8,750 to their earnings, and making it to Saturday's top eight aggregate round. The win was crucial to Lees as he sits 16th in the world.
Richmond Champion may not be safe in the 14th position, the cowboy turned out his horse after an incident in the chute and was checked out by the Justin Sports Medical Team.
Mason Clements was sitting 18th in world standings prior to the Cinch Playoffs. With his $3,750 purse from Thursday night and scoring an 83.5-point ride Friday night, Clements secured his spot in the top eight aggregate round on Saturday.
