Kempfer Dominates Saddle Bronc at Southeastern Circuit Finals

Parker Kempfer led throughout the Southeastern Circuit Finals as he got a head start on Saddle Bronc earnings for the 2024 season.

Parker Kempfer couldn’t lose in the Saddle Bronc event at the Southeastern Circuit Finals, winning or sharing all three rounds and winning the event on average in Davie, Fla.

Kempfer claimed the title with a three-round score of 254.5 points on three head. He now has five go-round wins on the young season, as he claimed wins on rides at the Northwest Florida Championship Rodeo and the Indiantown Rodeo.

With that, he’s already amassed $17,930 in earnings in a little over a month, which is nearly half of what he earned last season.

Kempfer’s roll to the win on average saw him post a higher score on each of his three rides. In the first round he scored 83 points while riding Clifford. In the second round, he shared the win with an 85-point ride on Coal Miner. In the final round, he claimed the win with an 86.5-point ride on Babys Bonus.

The only rider to break Kempfer’s hold on the top spot in any round was Jack Smithson, who shared the second-round win while riding Rich Girl.

But that wasn’t enough to help Smithson vault into the Top 3 on average. He came in fourth.

Treyson Antonick was second with a three-round score of 243, while Kody Rinehart was third with a three-round score of 241.5. Smithson had 224 points.
