If your last name was Wright, you had a good Saddle Bronc ride on the west coast last weekend, as Ryder Wright won at Las Vegas Days and Stuart Wright won at the Brawley Cattle Call Rodeo in Brawley, Calif.

In fact, Ryder not only won in Las Vegas, he finished in second at Brawley.

Ryder Wright won with an 85.5-point ride on Evil Genius. The two-time world champion and seven-time National Finals Rodeo participant finished two points ahead of his brother, Statler Wright. Another Wright brother, Rusty, came in third with an 81.5-point ride.

Meanwhile, at Brawley, Stuart Wright on with an 86.5-point ride on California Dreamin. That represents his first top finish of the 2024 season. Ryder Wright came in second, while Statler Wright was third.

The top non-Wright finisher in each rodeo was Allen Boore, who had an 80-point ride in Las Vegas to finish fourth, while Zachary Dallas had an 83.5-point ride to finish fourth at Brawley.
