Adios Pantalones Attempting Incredible Feat Few Other Stallions Have Done

Already earning $57,634 in three runs, this young palomino stallion is captivating the barrel community and not slowing down.

The three-year-old Super Stakes barrel race at the Barrel Futurities of American is an exclusive race for only 60 of the best, three-year-old equine athletes and trainers.

They have all put in the work and time to be ready to hit the barrel pen under a lot of pressure.

Considering just the top-12 teams winning money, this race is an incredible to witness.

Winning Juvenile Slot Race Reserve Champion, along with over $57,000 in just their first three runs ever, Tricia Aldridge and her palomino stallion, Adios Pantalones, is no stranger to winning at BFA.

Yes, that is his official registered name, Adios Pantalones

Adios is by none other than the $28 million stallion, Tres Seis and out of a producing daughter of Frenchmans Guy

"I did breed to Tres Seis that same year and then I saw Adios on Facebook. Something just made me keep coming back to him so I ended up selling mine," said Aldridge. "Then I went and bought him from Leslie and Jerry Bailey."

Aldridge already was passionate and successful with the Tres Seis bloodlines. Despite her not being totally in love with Frenchmans Guy she was impressed with Adios' dam, French Bar Belle, who has already produced winners of over $200,000.

"He's a machine. He is so consistent. He is so smart," said Aldridge discussing Adios is the barrel pen. "He also has such a playful and outgoing personality. He is a total clown but as soon as you swing a leg over him, he's all business."

This team has already made a name for themselves and grown in popularity.

At the BFA they were the fastest three-run average, which included their Super Stakes run and the two rounds of the Juvenile. This was calculated thanks to Equi-Source.

Running two, 15.5 second runs, and even with a stumble in one round, they still ran a 15.8 second run. This team is showing they have what it takes.

Adios and Aldridge are getting prepped and ready to run in some big races the next few months including Oklahoma City Futurity and Kinder Cup.

"We are going to go for highest money futurity stallion of the year," said Aldridge. "We've started off with a bang and I know he can do it."

It's a lot of pressure on a young horse to not only run at this level but also be a stallion standing at stud.

Adios has already proved he can handle it all this past year by hauling and preparing for his futurity year all while breeding 80 mares.

Mentally and physically Adios has shown he's a standout already.

"We couldn't do any of this with out Dr. Don Lee at Double X Equine, my farrier Cutter Holloway, Kim Gillespie our chiropractor and of course Fallon Taylor who's been a big help," said Aldridge.

Multiple National Finals Rodeo qualifier, Fallon Taylor, started up and runs the online store Ranch Dress'n and who Aldridge gives credit to for their colorful and stylish gear.

Adios's 2024 breeding books are already full but get on his waitlist, keep up with all the action and see videos full of his personality on his Facebook page.
