In a display of precision and skill, Probably Smart N Nu, sired by Smart Nu Shiner and out of Probably Red Buck, emerged victorious at the 2024 American Rope Horse Futurity Association (ARHFA) Sun Circuit Futurity Heeling on Sunday, March 3.

Owned by Chris Sutton of Ada, Okla, and expertly ridden by Daniel Reed, the 2019 gelding showcased exceptional talent and finesse, securing the top spot with a total score of 915.17 and earning a significant payout of $10,800.

The competition, held at WestWorld of Scottsdale, witnessed intense rivalry among top-tier roping horses. Securing the second position was SLR Swinging Hickory, sired by Hickory Holly Time and out of Swingin Tule. Jeremy Buhler, of Maricopa, Ariz., guided the 2019 mare owned by Stump Lake Ranch & Cattle Co. to an impressive score of 911.00, earning $8,640 in prize money.

Claiming the third spot was Nacho Cats Alibi, by Nacho Cat out of Pistol Annies Alibi. Under the skilled guidance of rider Cole Davison, the 2019 mare, owned by Kyle and Amanda Spitz of Lamar, Colo., displayed remarkable agility and prowess, clinching a total score of 907.89 and a payout of $7,020.

The ARHFA Arizona Sun Circuit continues Monday, March 4 with the Non-Pro Heading and Non-Pro Heeling.
