The American Western Weekend at the Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, is set to showcase the renowned American Performance Horseman and the American Rodeo, offering more than just rodeo action for attendees.

Alongside finely-tuned equine athletes, the American Western Weekend will feature live music performances lighting up the nights on both Friday and Saturday. Friday's lineup includes Alli Walker, Ghost Hounds, and country music star Luke Bryan, while Saturday features Aaron Watson and Post Malone. Tickets are still available for these events.

Additionally, here are some activities and attractions to explore while visiting the Lone Star State:

Texas Live!

Don't miss tailgating at this lively bar, just steps away from Globe Life Field. The fun kicks off at noon on March 9 with no admission charge. Enjoy drink specials and meet-and-greets with the weekend's star athletes.

Fort Worth Stockyards

Looking to escape Arlington's hustle and bustle? Head to the legendary Fort Worth Stockyards, just 20 miles away. Explore boutiques, western bars, and restaurants like H3 Steakhouse. Visitors can also take pictures sitting on a real-life longhorn and experience a genuine cattle drive down the main street.

The Patriot

Can't get enough of thrilling rodeo action? The Patriot takes place all weekend long at the Will Rogers and John Justin Arenas in Fort Worth, Texas. Hundreds of athletes and their equine partners will compete in barrels, team roping, and other events. There's even an American Contender Qualifier for barrel racers aiming to qualify for the 2025 American Rodeo.

In addition to the listed attractions, there are numerous activities around the metroplex. Inside Globe Life, visitors will find many vendors offering shopping and American Rodeo merchandise as souvenirs.
