There has been no shortage of celebrities attending the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend. One of the hottest events took place on Friday night when adidas hosted a large group of its professional athletes.

In addition to the family get-together, the event served as an opportunity to celebrate the direction of the brand. Adidas unveiled several unreleased sneakers, including the sixth model from the signature line of Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell.

It was not that long ago when Mitchell debuted the adidas D.O.N. Issue #5 at the 2023 MLB Celebrity All-Star Game in July before the shoe launched in October. While it is way ahead of schedule, we are not complaining. Below is our first look at the adidas D.O.N. Issue #6.

Adidas has not announced the official launch date or tech specs of Mitchell's sixth signature sneaker. However, the photo above shows a low-cut model sporting a purple and black colorway.

In an interview with FanNation Kicks, Mitchell said he wants his signature sneakers to look good on and off the court. The adidas D.O.N. Issue #6 looks like it aims to accomplish that feat.

Athletes and fans who do not want to wait on Mitchell's unreleased sneakers can shop his official footwear and apparel collection on the adidas website. The 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend has barely gotten started, and it has already given the sneaker community plenty to chew on.
