College basketball superstar Angel Reese has signed an NIL deal with Reebok.

Last spring, Angel Reese played a pivotal role in elevating women's college basketball to new heights. Some fans called her cocky, and others considered her confident. But one thing you must call her is a champion. The LSU Tigers forward has undeniable talent and star power.

On Tuesday morning, Reebok announced that Reese had signed an NIL deal with the brand. The splashy announcement is part of Reebok’s long-term strategy to reclaim its rightful position as a dominant player in sport and sports culture.

Reese becomes the brand’s first major NIL signing and the first signing under the newly appointed President of Basketball, Shaquille O’Neal, joining the likes of new and legacy brand partners, including NFL quarterback Justin Fields, basketball icon Allen Iverson, and more.

“I am honored to be working closely with one of my longtime mentors, Shaq, along with a brand that I have admired since I was just a little kid,” shared Angel Reese. “It means the world to me that they trust in me to extend their legacy to a new generation. Together, I think we have a great opportunity to do things differently, to inspire people to explore and express themselves unapologetically, and to show them how to look and feel good while doing it.”

On October 17, fans of Reebok and Reese will be able to purchase a limited-edition celebratory tee ($35) via Reebok.com and can also visit Reebok.com to view Angel’s first curated collection, “Angel’s Picks.”

"For my first appointment in this role, it had to be the GOAT. There is no one making a bigger impact on the game right now than Angel Reese," commented basketball legend, fellow Tiger, and President of Reebok Basketball, Shaquille O’Neal. "Angel is shaking up the space, just like Reebok has done all along. I’m proud to welcome Angel into the Reebok family and can’t wait to see how she will bring the brand’s legacy to the next generation."

Reese will be featured in campaigns across lifestyle and performance products and will work with Reebok product teams to influence future designs and innovations, including her own collection slated to launch in FW24. Reebok will also work with Reese to support her philanthropic endeavors, including her recently launched Angel C. Reese Foundation, dedicated to empowering girls and women through sports, education, financial literacy, and more.

Speaking to the game-changing partnership, Reebok CEO Todd Krinsky commented, "Angel has this unique mix of unapologetic swagger and style combined with off-the-charts athleticism. Her individuality and personal irreverence are helping transform college sports and inspiring an entire generation. We’re thrilled to be working with Angel and look forward to further imprinting our presence on sports culture together."
