Bryce Young Signs With Jordan Brand Ahead of NFL Draft
Football fans all over the country will tune into the 2023 NFL Draft tonight. The Carolina Panthers are expected to select former Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Bryce Young as the number one draft pick.
However, a surprise announcement came out this morning. Jordan Brand has signed Young to a multi-year footwear and apparel deal. The brand posted pictured pictures of Young in Jumpman gear on its official Instagram on Thursday morning.
Young becomes the newest addition to Jordan Brand's growing roster of NFL athletes. The select group of players includes Dak Prescott, Deebo Samuel, Davante Adams, Jamal Adams, Chase Claypool, Stefon Diggs, Melvin Ingram, Cam Jordan, Tyran Mathieu, Dak Prescott, Kyle Pitts, Bobby Wagner, and Devin White.
While Jordan Brand has built a monopoly of wide receivers, it still has room for growth in the quarterback position - that is where Young comes in. The dynamic quarterback has the skill and star power to elevate the already-strong brand further.
During his time at Alabama, Young wore Nike in crimson and white. But Young should receive plenty of player-exclusive Jordan Brand gear in Carolina Blue once he arrives in Michael Jordan's home state.
After Young walks across the stage tonight, he will face a new set of lofty expectations. Luckily, the young man will have the support of the entire Jordan Brand family as he navigates the NFL.
