CeeDee Lamb Wears Custom Kobe Cleats in Cowboys Game
Regardless of your fandom, we can all agree that the Dallas Cowboys have the best uniforms in all of football. Maybe even in all of North American sports. It seemed impossible to improve upon their iconic threads, but CeeDee Lamb upgraded the aesthetic with his cleats on Sunday.
The Cowboys wide receiver enjoyed a monster game in yesterday's win over their divisional rival, the Philadelphia Eagles. Even better, Lamb paid tribute to Kobe Bryant by wearing a pair of his sneakers that were customized for the football field.
Lamb wore a one-of-one pair of Nike Kobe 6 cleats in a navy and white colorway. The artist responsible for the work goes by "Kota Kustoms" and has outfitted many of the best players in the NFL. Check out the Instagram post below for a closer look.
Lamb's kicks remained true to Bryant's iconic sixth signature sneaker. The navy blue snakeskin-inspired upper is contrasted by white Swoosh logos and other Kobe branding. Lamb's jersey number (88) on the lateral heel is the icing on the cake.
It should come as no surprise that Lamb racked up six receptions for 71 yards and a touchdown. The 24-year-old phenom regularly puts up mind-boggling stats, but playing in some of the best cleats of the NFL season is sure to take anyone's game up another level.
Dallas has dozens of sneakerheads on its roster who often wear fire footwear on the field. But Lamb just raised the bar in the locker room and in the league. Stay locked into FanNationKicks.vom for all your sneaker news from the sports world.
