Celebrities Show Off Sneakers at Madison Square Garden

Actors, athletes, and musicians showed off their sneakers at the New York Knicks game.

Celebrities are just like us when it comes to watching NBA Playoff games. The only exception is they often have better seats. The superstars were out in full force for Sunday's Game 1 matchup between the New York Knicks and Miami Heat.

While sitting in floor seats at Madison Square Garden, almost every A-list celebrity showed off impressive sneakers. Whether it was an actor, artist, or athlete, they all understood the assignment. Below is a complete recap of the sneakers worn by each celebrity.

Spike Lee

The New York Knicks have a loyal fanbase that has been through a lot over the years. Perhaps no fan has been more faithful than Spike Lee. It is not uncommon to see the legendary filmmaker sitting courtside during most Knicks games.

Per usual, Lee wore a Knicks a hat and jersey to match his orange and blue Air Jordan 1 sneakers. Lee shared a picture on his Instagram account of his entire fit, including his custom sneakers which paid tribute to the late-great Willis Reed.

Jack Harlow

Jack Harlow just dropped his latest album titled Jackman. In the concise but heartfelt piece of art, Harlow mused about sitting front row at a Knicks game. Fast forward less than 48 hours, and that dream is a reality.

Naturally, Harlow used the platform to represent New Balance. Harlow is an ambassador of the Boston-based brand and regularly wears New Balance 550 sneakers. Yesterday was no different, as Harlow rocked a crisp pair of all-white 550s to the big game.

Aaron Rodgers

It is impossible for any one person to outshine the Big Apple, but Aaron Rodgers is testing the limits. Since landing with the New York Jets last week, the perennial All-Pro quarterback has been the toast of the town.

Since arriving in New York, Rodgers has only worn one pair of shoes out in public. Whether at a press conference or playoff game, Rodgers has stuck with the adidas Forum 84 Low in the 'Legend Ink Patent' colorway. Fans can get an up-close look at the kicks on this Knicks' Instagram post.

Suga

Not only is Suga a BTS rapper and a global force for good, but he is also a huge hoops fan. Suga recently became an ambassador of the league and has been seen at games all over the country.

On Sunday, the Knicks rolled out the red carpet for one of the most popular artists in the world. Judging by fans' videos, it appears that Suga wore the Air Jordan 3 in the 'White Cement Reimagined' colorway. Huge shout-out to the Knicks social media team for documenting so much of Suga's iconic visit to Madison Square Garden.

Trevor Noah

Trevor Noah might have been born in South Africa, but he is a New Yorker at heart. The comedian regularly attends games at Madison Square Garden and often uses it as a chance to show off some of his fire sneakers.

On Sunday, Noah linked up with Jack Harlow after the game for a quick fit-pic. We can see on Noah's Instagram post that he wore the Air Jordan 1 in the 'Black Toe' colorway.

Honorable Mentions

There were plenty of other celebrities deserving of recognition for their sneakers. Actress Emma Roberts wore the Nike Air Force 1 in the 'Valentine's Day Love Letter' colorway, while actor Michael J. Fox wore the same model in the 'NYC Away' colorway.

Additionally, comedian Chris Rock wore the Nike Air Max 90 Gore-Tex in the 'Photon Dust' colorway. Meanwhile, rapper Action Bronson showed off his latest collaboration with the New Balance 990v6 Made in the USA 'Baklava' colorway.
