Davante Adams Debuted "Fresno State" Air Jordans
After almost a decade in the NFL, the resume of Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams speaks for itself. The 30-year-old has accumulated several handfuls prestigious league awards. It is not a bad body of work for a former second-round selection out of Fresno State University.
Adams can do whatever he wants at this point in his career. He is one of a select few wide receivers who represents Jordan Brand on the gridiron each Sunday and regularly makes headlines for his footwear. However, Adams will never forget where he got his start.
Jordan Brand sneaker designed Ryan Smith recently shared detailed pictures of the player-exclusive cleats that Adams wore during the Raiders' Week 3 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Adams racked up 13 receptions for 172 yards and two touchdowns while paying tribute to his alma mater.
Thanks to Smith's Instagram post, we can see the immaculate Air Jordan 11 Low cleats designed for Adams. The cleats' upper consists of a black suede and an icy white patent leather. Meanwhile, the red detailing, Bulldog logos, and other nods to Fresno State provide the icing on the cake.
The player-exclusive design team at Jordan Brand finds a way to outdo themselves every week. The only downside is that these fire cleats will never be released to the public. However, fans can always stock up on Las Vegas Raiders apparel and footwear on Nike's website.
The Raiders' season may be in peril, but sneakerheads can count on Jordan Brand to match Adams' unreal level of production on the field. Stay tuned to FanNationKicks.com for all your footwear news from the sports world.
