De’Aaron Fox Signs Sneaker Deal with Curry Brand
For over a decade, Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry and Under Armour have made sneaker history with their partnership and shared vision. One of the more exciting developments was the launch of Curry Brand in 2020.
Today, the brand made history by signing Sacramento Kings point guard De'Aaron Fox to a signature sneaker deal. This historic partnership makes Fox the first official signature athlete for Curry Brand.
With this partnership, De’Aaron and Stephen’s relationship will evolve from players to partners as De’Aaron becomes representative of everything that Stephen has been building with Under Armour for the last decade. Beyond product, the two powerhouses are united by a shared purpose to grow the sport of basketball.
In this new role, not only will De’Aaron influence UA performance solutions, including launching his own signature footwear with Curry Brand in 2024, but he will also oversee grassroots basketball programs on the UA Next basketball circuit, providing access to sport and training to athletes at every level, including supporting Stephen’s annual Curry Camp, where he will be a mentor to these athletes on and off court, helping them navigate to that next elite level post-college.
In 2023, Stephen and UA announced a long-term partnership that further ingrained Stephen into the brand’s operations. As UA and Stephen consider the future of Curry Brand, the addition of De’Aaron marks a pivotal milestone and exciting next chapter for the brand as the two All-Stars carry the torch of Curry Brand together, finding new ways to grow the brand while keeping purpose at the center.
