After a rocky rollout, Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker's first signature sneaker is finally hitting its stride. The Nike Book 1 drew criticism for everything from its design to colorways to availability. But public opinion is shifting as the performance model heats up heading into spring.

Nike is now rolling out more original colorways (no more tributes to iconic sneakers in the brand's history) and increasing the production numbers. There is no better example than today's release of the Nike Book 1 in the "Haven" colorway.

The Nike Book 1 "Haven" is a sign of love to Booker's best friend, his 135-pound Cane Corso dog. Below is a detailed look at the sneakers, a breakdown of its tech specs, and information on how to buy them at retail prices online and in stores.

The Nike Book 1 "Haven" is scheduled to launch at 10:00 a.m. EST on Saturday, April 6. Online shoppers will be able to purchase the sneakers for $140 on the Nike SNKRS app, Foot Locker, and the Dick's Sporting Goods app.

The colorway sports a black upper, contrasted by subtle touches of metallic red bronze and hemp. As a nod to Booker's fashion style, the kicks are made with workwear-inspired materials like canvas and durable twill. Additionally, it pairs suede and leather accents for more reinforcement and a familiar, broken-in feel.

While the materials are more premium, athletes and fans do not have to worry about the tech specs lacking in any way. The model contains all of the same performance technology as other iterations of Booker's first signature sneaker.

The timing of Nike Book 1 coming alive, coinciding with the Suns' upcoming playoff run, could not be better. Hopefully, it will be a long and eventful spring for Nike and Booker as they look to reset the narrative surrounding the polarizing sneaker.
