Kevin Durant Wears Nike KD 15 'Duke Blue Devils'

Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant wore his signature Nike shoes in a 'Duke Blue Devils' colorway.

The Brooklyn Nets have been the hottest team in the NBA over the last month. The lion's share of the credit belongs to Kevin Durant. The 34-year-old still commands the attention of everyone in the basketball (and sneaker) world.

Luckily for fans, tonight's game between Brooklyn and the New Orleans Pelicans is nationally-televised. Durant used the opportunity to debut an unreleased colorway of his newest signature shoe - the Nike KD 15.

Durant debuted the Nike KD 15 in the 'Duke Blue Devils' colorway. The shoes feature a black upper, white side panels and outsole, contrasted by a royal blue Swoosh. Durant's signature logo appears on the right tongue, with the Duke logo stitched onto the left tongue.

Throughout the season, Durant has shown love to multiple colleges. Durant has dazzled sneakerheads with player-exclusive colorways representing the Oregon Ducks, UCONN Huskies, and his alma mater, the Texas Longhorns.

The Nike KD 15 launched in April 2022 for $160 in adult sizes. The performance basketball shoes feature a creative design that shaves off weight while increasing comfort.

The shoes feature a full-length Cushlon foam plus a visible Air Zoom Strobel unit which eliminates the need for extra layers and elevates the energy-returning sensation.

Unfortunately for fans, the 'Duke Blue Devils' colorway will never hit shelves. However, the silver lining is there are over a dozen colorways of Durant's fifteenth signature shoe available at a discount on the Nike website.

Basketball is Durant's primary focus, but footwear ranks very high on his list. The perennial All-NBA forward has one of the best signature lines in basketball sneaker history. Follow @FanNationKicks on Twitter and give us your thoughts on the Nike KD 15.
