Kobe Bryant's Adidas Sneakers Available in Lakers Colors
Over the past few months, there has been a flurry of exciting announcements surrounding the sneakers of Kobe Bryant. It has been almost four years since the world lost the Black Mamba, and most fans have still not been able to purchase any gear to represent the Los Angeles Lakers legend on and off the court.
Despite relaunching the "Kobe Brand" in August, Nike has not made it any easier for the average consumer to buy Bryant's signature basketball shoes. Luckily for fans, adidas recently opened up its archives to release the retro sneakers worn by Bryant during the early years of his professional career.
The adidas Crazy 1 (once known as "The Kobe") was released in two Lakers-inspired colorways in recent months. The shoes launched at $150 in adult sizes but have now been marked down by 10% to $135 on the adidas website.

The adidas Crazy 1 is still available in most sizes in the 'Lakers Home' and 'Lakers Away' colorways. The 'Lakers Home' sports a white upper with purple accents and gold detailing around the ankle collar and outsole. The 'Lakers Away' features a black upper contrasted by gold accents and purple detailing.
After Bryant left adidas in 2002, the brand rebranded "The Kobe" as the "Crazy 1," and the performance basketball shoe went on to enjoy several memorable moments thanks to other NBA stars. Additionally, other models worn by Bryant, including the Crazy 8 and Top 10 2000, are available online at this time.
It is impossible to tell the story of Bryant's incredible career without discussing his sneaker history. With Nike limiting supply and adidas opening up the vault, now is the perfect time for online shoppers to pick up a pair of Bryant's iconic sneakers.
