LeBron James Teases the Nike LeBron 21
It has been a tremendously difficult week for LeBron James and his family. However, James and his youngest son, Bryce, were back on the basketball court today. Similar to last summer, James used the offseason to unveil his next signature Nike sneaker.
Leaked images of the Nike LeBron 21 surfaced online months ago. But James' Instagram post (set to the tune of "Rich Flex" by Drake and 21 Savage) gave fans their best glimpse of the unreleased hoop shoe yet.
The 2022-23 NBA season was a milestone year for James. In addition to dragging the Los Angeles Lakers to the Western Conference Finals, James became the NBA's all-time scoring leader and celebrated two decades with Nike. So the bar is set high for the Nike LeBron 21.
At first glance, the Nike LeBron 21 looks like it made significant changes from its predecessor. The mesh upper appears to have been swapped out for what looks like a patent leather upper. The double Swoosh logos are gone, while a more sculpted heel is in.

Athletes and fans will be happy that the shoe looks to be another low-cut model. The Nike LeBron 20 was the first sneaker from James' signature line to debut as a low-top, and Nike is taking the same approach this year.
Unofficial images never do justice to basketball shoes, but we are excited about the Nike LeBron 21. The gold colorway debuted by James is sharp and sure to be another excellent performance model on the hardwood.
Currently, there is no official release date, tech specs, or pricing. However, the shoe will most likely launch in Fall 2023 and be somewhere around the $200 price range like its predecessor.
As we eagerly await the official launch of the Nike LeBron 21, fans can purchase the Nike LeBron 20 at a discount in most colorways on the Nike website. Tell us your preliminary thoughts on the Nike LeBron 21 at @FanNationKicks on Facebook and Twitter.
