Fans can always expect celebrities and athletes to attend sporting events in support of the USC Trojans. That is especially true now that Bronny James is back on the court, and his father, LeBron James, tries to make every home game that his busy schedule allows.

Whether LeBron is lighting up the scoreboard for the Los Angeles Lakers or spending time with his family, the perennial NBA All-Star and consummate family man always makes sneaker news. Yesterday was no different when LeBron pulled up to the Galen Center in Kanye West's retro Nike sneakers.

LeBron wore the Nike Air Yeezy 2 in the 'Solar Red' colorway. The sneakers were released in limited quantities in 2012 and now cost at least $8,000 on sneaker resale websites. Check out the Instagram post below for a detailed look at LeBron's old-school sneakers.

The Nike Air Yeezy 2 was the last sneaker designed by West before he left Nike to begin working with adidas. A few years later, West name-checked LeBron and Nike in his song "Facts (Charlie Heat Version)," saying, "Nike treat employees just like slaves. Gave LeBron a billi' [sic] not to run away."

The line was a reference to LeBron's lifetime contract with Nike signed in 2015, which is reportedly worth over one billion dollars. While the sneakers and the song feel like a relic from a bygone era, it is cool to see LeBron remind fans how deep he can dive into his sneaker rotation.

Between LeBron in the NBA and Bronny in the NCAA, fans can expect non-stop sneaker heat debuted on the hardwood almost every night. Stay locked into FanNationKicks.com for all your footwear news from the sports world.
