Luka Doncic's Second Signature Shoe is Here

The Jordan Luka 2 is built for creating space on the basketball court.
In this story:

Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic enjoyed a stellar launch of his signature sneaker line last year. It was not uncommon to see Doncic's Jordan Brand shoes all over television during college and professional basketball games.

Fans got a glimpse at Doncic's second signature sneaker during a Dallas Mavericks regular season game in April. After months of anticipating, the Jordan Luka 2 is officially here.

The Jordan Luka 2 combines full-length Formula 23 foam and the IsoPlate (both Jordan-only innovations) that work in unison with a new medial Cushlon 3.0 wedge foam to help keep the foot in control.

The midsole is comprised of four parts. The Formula 23 foam rests directly underneath the foot, surrounded by a firm foam carrier. A soft foam wedge on the medial side helps the foot sink in slightly so it sits at a proper angle for pushing off the court. Lastly, the latest version of the IsoPlate raises the lateral sidewall against the carrier foam to help keep the player on balance during lateral changes of direction.

The Jordan Luka 2 was created with nonlinear movements in mind, highlighting Luka Doncic’s crafty game and his talent for creating separation. Throughout the design process, Doncic continuously mentioned “balance” as what he needed in a shoe to keep him locked in.

The highly-anticipated second installment will cost $130 in adult sizes (a $20 increase from the previous model). The Jordan Luka 2 will launch globally on July 5, and release in five colorways throughout the summer.

The Jordan Luka 2 'Quai 54' celebrates the 20th anniversary of the world’s biggest streetball tournament. The colorway pays homage to Pan-Africanism with a green, red and black color scheme.

The upper features a pattern of double x’s, which is a nod the French tournament’s two decades of excellence. The colorway will first release in Europe on June 23, and enjoy a global release on July 8.

The Jordan Luka 2 'Nebula' pays tribute to one of Doncic's favorite player-exclusive colorways, the Air Jordan 35 Low 'Cosmic Deception'. This spacy colorway incorporates vibrant pink, purple, orange and grey that resembles a nebula in outer space. The Jordan Luka 2 'Nebula' is scheduled to release on July 27.

The Jordan Luka 2 'Luk.AI' is the same shoe Doncic wore on the court in April. With the help of AI, the colorway brings to life Doncic's alter-ego that he launched last year in collaboration with Epic Games.

Similar to artificial intelligence, the Luka.AI learns and develops based on the interactions it has with Doncic's fans. The Jordan Luka 2 'Luka.AI' will release through early access for select Nike Members on July 5, with an official retail launch is scheduled for July 11.

The Jordan Luka 2 'Matador' strays away from previous red colorways, to pay homage to Doncic's early professional career in Madrid, Spain. The largely teal colorway is highlighted by golden metallic accents. The Jordan Luka 2 'Matador' is scheduled to release on August 3.

Lake Bled

The Jordan 2 'Lake Bled' highlights Doncic's home country’s commitment to sustainability. Every season, the model will receive a new colorway that boasts at least 20% recycled content.

The blue, black, and red colorway is a tribute to Slovenia’s Lake Bled in the Julian Alps. The Jordan 2 'Lake Bled' is scheduled to release on September 14.
