Mookie Betts wore retro Air Jordan sneakers to Los Angeles Dodgers Spring Training.

The new MLB season is quickly approaching. Over the past week, players have begun reporting to their team's training facilities for Spring Training. Few players appear to be more excited about the new year than Mookie Betts.

The Los Angeles Dodgers right fielder showed up early to start preparing for another marathon season. Yesterday, Betts arrived at the Dodgers facility in Arizona in grey sweats with icy-white Air Jordan sneakers.

Betts' outfit was almost a complete parallel to New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge's all-black ensemble on Sunday morning. Judge went with black sweats and new Air Jordan sneakers, while Betts opted for a lighter look capped off with older Air Jordans.

But just because Betts' shoes are a few years old does not mean he did not keep them clean. Below is everything fans must know about the Air Jordan 3 'Pure White' sneakers worn by Betts.

The Air Jordan 3 'Pure White' was released in July 2018 for $190. The old-school hoop shoes sold out long ago and now have an average resale price of $392 on the sneaker resale website StockX.

It is hard to mess up with the iconic Air Jordan 3 silhouette. Since its release in 1988, the model has been redesigned in countless colorways. However, the 'Pure White' colorway might be the cleanest iteration of the shoe yet.

The shoe features a white leather upper with light grey accents around the toe box and heel. The light blue outsoles complete the look for the ideal summer sneaker. It has been five years since the shoes hit shelves, and sneakerheads can only hope for another release sometime soon.

Betts' love for footwear is well-documented. The 6x MLB All-Star regularly impresses fans with his kicks on and off the field. With the new season gearing up, we cannot wait to see what Betts and his teammates have in store for the new campaign.
