In this story:

There is no doubt about it - the signature sneaker line of the late-great Kobe Bryant is back. We cannot say the state of the Kobe Brand is better than ever because Nike used to pull out all the stops for Bryant and its basketball division over a decade ago. However, the Nike Kobe line is in a good place.

After a few limited edition releases that left many fans upset, it is gradually becoming easier to purchase Los Angeles Lakers legend's sneakers. The number of models and units being produced continues to grow, and a possible tipping point is quickly approaching.

Nike is planning to release three popular sneakers from Bryant's signature line on April 13. Of course, NBA fans will remember that as "Mamba Day" - the eighth anniversary of Bryant's last game on April 13, 2016. Below are the official pictures and pricing for the upcoming launch.

Bryant's relationship with his hometown was strained at times (who can forget the 2002 NBA All-Star Game), but his affinity for the City of Brotherly Love never wavered. The Nike Kobe 4 'Philly' colorway was originally released in 2009 and quickly became one of the more sought-after sneakers from Bryant's illustrious catalog.

Luckily for fans, the Philadelphia-inspired colorway is making its long-awaited comeback. The patriotic design features a blue upper with white detailing and red accents. The iconic "splatter" outsole incorporates all three colors, true to its original design.

The Nike Kobe 4 Protro 'Philly' is scheduled to be released at 10:00 a.m. EST on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Online shoppers can purchase the sneakers for $190 in adult sizes on the Nike SNKRS app and website.

Nike Kobe 6 'Italian Camo'

Philadelphia was Bryant's hometown, but his Italian upbringing was undeniable. Everything from his second language to his sartorial style was directly influenced by his time growing up in Italy. Nike is using Bryant's roots to come up with a fresh and exciting new colorway.

Bryant's sixth signature sneaker is arguably his most popular model and will sell out in any colorway. But real fans of the Lakers legend will be quick to pick up the Nike Kobe 6 Protro 'Italian Camo.' The model features a blend of black, green, and khaki that works well with the snakeskin-inspired upper (not to mention the orange detailing that pops off the hoop shoe).

The Nike Kobe 6 Protro 'Italian Camo ' is scheduled to be released at 10:00 a.m. EST on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Online shoppers can purchase the sneakers for $190 in adult sizes on the Nike SNKRS app and website.

I'm going to need everyone to clear out and let me call an isolation so I can have a clear path to the hoop for the Nike Kobe 8 Protro 'Venice Beach.' Everyone has their grails, and these are it for me. Ever since I visited the iconic Southern California beach as a kid, I was hooked on the cultural melting pot.

So, you can imagine my excitement when these shoes originally came out in 2013 (too bad I was a broke college kid by that time). Nevertheless, the OG colorway is back with all of its original details, including the non-padded tongue.

The Nike Kobe 8 Protro 'Venice Beach ' is scheduled to be released at 10:00 a.m. EST on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Online shoppers can purchase the sneakers for $190 in adult sizes, $120 in grade school sizes, and $90 in little kid's sizes on the Nike SNKRS app and website.
