Nike Releases NBA All-Star Sneaker Collection
The entire basketball ecosystem is descending upon Salt Lake City, Utah, for the 2023 NBA All-Star Weekend. While the world's best players team up for a friendly exhibition, sneaker brands are competing harder than ever.
As always, Nike has the largest representation of athletes playing in the All-Star Game. Several of the brand's signature athletes, including LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Giannis Antetokounmpo, have received special colorways of their signature basketball shoes to commemorate the honor.
The rare shoes will not last long online. Below is everything fans and athletes must know about the shoes while they are still available at retail prices.
Nike LeBron 20
The Nike LeBron 20 'ASW' is available in adult sizes for $200 on Nike's website. The wavy blue colorway features a reptile print on the knit upper. Additionally, there are several nods to James' historical All-Star game experiences throughout the colorway.
Inside the tongue, a pink tag reads "LeBron Pink Diamond Collection Est. 2003." Additionally, a gold tag reading "The Records of King James" is stitched onto the back heels.
Nike KD 15
The Nike KD 15 'ASW' is available in adult sizes for $160 on Nike's website. The light brown upper resembles petrified wood, just as each ring of Durant's legendary career tells a different tale, preserving a legacy that lives on forever.
Meanwhile, the insoles of the shoes have graphics of checks signed by Durant. The Phoenix Suns forward is known as "Easy Money Sniper," so it is only fitting that his shoes feature checks waiting to be cashed.
Nike Zoom Freak 4
The Nike Zoom Freak 4 'ASW' is available in adult sizes for $135 on Nike's website. The light purple colorway is inspired by outer space, just as Antetokounmpo's celestial skills and galactic game will spark a sense of wonder thousands of years into the future.
Similar to Durant's shoes, the Nike Zoom Freak 4 'ASW' features graphics on the insoles, which tell a celestial story. Antetokounmpo's blend of size and skill will spark curiosity among historians for centuries to come.
