It has been almost four decades since Snoop Dogg stormed onto the national scene, delivering hard-hitting lyrics with an unmistakable laid-back style. The legendary rapper is an integral part of American music, sports, and now basketball sneaker history.

Skechers and Snoop Dogg are paying homage to a shared love of professional basketball with the launch of the new SKX Resagrip - Boss Treatment basketball-style shoe.

The performance basketball shoe makes its debut today for $160 in adult sizes on the Skechers website. The new SKX Resagrip – Boss Treatment is a one-of-a-kind design that combines a "Snoopified" aesthetic with Skechers' award-winning comfort and performance technologies.

Hand-picked by Snoop himself to be included in his Skechers x Snoop Dogg collection, the Resagrip - Boss Treatment takes the same comfort and performance technologies found in the original SKX Resagrip™ basketball shoe.

The perfect hybrid of form and function, the Resagrip – Boss Treatment shoe offers next-level cushioning and responsiveness to accommodate quick and explosive movements on the court.

The drop follows Skechers’ entry into basketball last fall, which included the launch of an inaugural lineup of performance basketball footwear. The initial release included two low and mid-top styles fusing innovative technologies with the brand’s signature comfort - the SKX Resagrip™, designed for players who move at top speed, and the SKX FLOAT™, perfect for ballers in search of game-changing stability.

Offering all-star quality and elite performance for every level of player, Skechers also enlisted New York Knicks power forward Julius Randle and Los Angeles Clippers shooting guard Terance Mann to be the first NBA players to compete in Skechers Basketball shoes and currently wear both styles on the court.

The model features Goodyear® Resagrip Technology with a unique outsole configuration so you can play hard and focus on your game. These court-ready basketball sneakers also offer exceptional stability and support with an enhanced collar foam for ankle control, plus Skechers Hyper Burst Pro™ sock liner for increased cushioning and response.

The mid-top design also incorporates Skechers Hyper Burst® cushioning in the midsole – a resilient foam created utilizing a ‘Super Critical®’ process for an ultra-lightweight experience.

While the SKX Resagrip™ is all about comfort and performance on the court, this Snoop Dogg-inspired design can be worn both on and off the court. Plus, the unique color combination is sure to turn heads from the basketball courts to the streets, just like the boss who is wearing them.
