Stephen Curry's 'Mouthguard' Sneakers Dropping April 1

Curry Brand is dropping a sneaker pack inspired by Stephen Curry's mouthguard.
In this story:

Who knew a piece of equipment could have such an outsized impact on a sport? When NBA players see Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry chewing his mouthguard, it is already too late for them.

Whether he’s chomping on it during a trip to the free throw line or throwing it across the court out of frustration, Curry’s mouthguard has become a key part of his on-court persona that allows him to let loose and do his thing in the midst of intense competition.

Curry’s mouthguard has become almost as famous as his silky jump shot or his signature shimmy celebration. It is only natural that Curry Brand create a shoe for fans to chew on that reflects that special mouthguard magic he brings to each and every game.

The Curry Brand 'Mouthguard' colorway will be available in two styles, the Curry 11 and Curry Retro 1. Both hoop shoes both are dropping on Monday, April Fool’s Day, as a nod to Stephen’s inner prankster and love for joking around, especially when it comes to his mouthguard. Online shoppers will be able to purchase the limited-edition collection on the Curry Brand website and select retailers.

The Curry 11 features dual-density UA FLOW for premium step-in in comfort and super light, bouncy, insane grip. Meanwhile, the external 3D-molded TPU heel counter for enhanced fit and support. Lastly, the durable UA Flow outsole provides a better court feel so you can cut & stop/start faster than ever.

The Curry 1 boasts an upper with lightweight structure and support, while the external heel counter secures your foot to eliminate sliding. The Charged Cushioning® absorbs impact & converts it into responsive quickness. The midfoot TPU shank wraps under the foot for extra lateral stability, while the multidirectional herringbone outsole delivers a superior court feel.
