Friday, April 7, marks an important day in the young career of Jayson Tatum. The Boston Celtics forward's first signature shoe with Jordan Brand has officially launched online. Fans have had to wait patiently since news of the Jordan Tatum 1 leaked to media outlets last fall.

Over the past few months, Jordan Brand and Tatum worked together to drive up hype for the highly-anticipated shoes. Tatum debuted his first sneaker during the 2023 NBA All-Star Game, where he took home the Kobe Bryant MVP Award.

Luckily for fans, they finally get a chance to buy the performance basketball shoes online. The Jordan Tatum 1 launched earlier today in the 'Zoo' colorway on the Nike website.

If online shoppers act first, they can purchase the shoes for $120 in adult sizes, $90 in big kids, $75 in little kids, and $55 in baby/toddler sizes. Below is what consumers need to know about the Jordan Tatum 1 before making the investment.

The Jordan Tatum 1 is one of the highest basketball shoes on the market. The design team stripped away all unnecessary rubber except for the forefoot and toe. The upper consists of a breathable mesh material.

Cushion is provided by Zoom Air units inserted into a soft foam midsole. Meanwhile, foam is wrapped around a strong plastic frame in the midsole for a lightweight structure.

Several more colorways are scheduled to launch throughout spring and summer. Colorways like "St. Louis" and "Pink Lemonade" are heartfelt tributes to Tatum's hometown and childhood memories.

Tatum has already enjoyed a career year, and the Eastern Conference Playoffs have not even started yet. Now is the ideal time to purchase Tatum's first-ever signature shoe before it is gone for good.
