The Legacy of the Jordan Luka 1 Continues to Grow

Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic's first signature Jordan Brand shoe is tied to historic NBA season.
In this story:

Monday night was another epic chapter in the historic individual season of Luka Doncic. The All-NBA guard led the Dallas Mavericks to victory over the Detroit Pistons 111-105. Doncic's incredible 53-point performance has almost become an afterthought, given his standout season and the increased scoring across the league.

What cannot be taken for granted is Doncic's first signature shoe - the Jordan Luka 1. During last night's contentious road win, Doncic debuted an unreleased teal, gold, and white colorway.

Through 46 games this season, Donic has worn a mix of player-exclusive and general-release colorways. Additionally, Jordan Brand-sponsored NCAA schools have received personalized colorways of the Jordan Luka 1.

At this time, there is no confirmation that the teal shoes Doncic wore last night will release to the public. However, the good news is several colorways of the Jordan Luka 1 are available at retail price on Nike's website.

The Jordan Luka 1 launched in September 2022 for $110 in adult sizing. The performance basketball shoes feature a mix of new and trusted technology. The new "Formula 23" foam provides impact protection while the "Flight Wires" help with containment and support.

This season could be the best year yet in the young career of Doncic. If the 23-year-old maintains this level of production, this could be the year he wins his first NBA MVP trophy.

Either way, the Jordan Luka 1 is going down in basketball history, thanks to Doncic's output. Stay locked into FanNationKicks.com to follow Doncic's shoes and the rest of the footwear world.
