One of the most enjoyable seasons in some time for the Miami Dolphins came to an all-too-early end this weekend, thanks to the Kansas City Chiefs. While the Dolphins are still searching for their first NFL playoff victory since 2000, no one can deny the future is bright in Miami. With a strong foundation intact, Dolphins fans can feel safe when investing in some gear.

While it is not an official collaboration with the organization, Nike is releasing a pair of its most popular sneakers in a style that sneakerheads have already dubbed the 'Miami Dolphins' colorway. Below is a detailed look, pricing, and release information for the upcoming Nike Dunk Low release.

The Nike Dunk Low 'Miami Dolphins' colorway will be released at 10:00 a.m. EST on Wednesday, January 17. Online shoppers can purchase the sneakers for $115 in adult sizes on the Nike website and at select retailers.

After making a name for itself on the basketball court in the 1980s, the Nike Dunk Low has transcended the hardwood to become one of the most popular sneakers in the footwear world. Its sleek design lends itself to so many iconic designs, and Nike continues to capitalize on the ultra-popular model.

This colorway sports a white base, midsole, and laces. Meanwhile, the Dusty Cactus leather overlays, interior linings, and outsoles provide a sharp contrast. Lastly, the Cosmic Clay delivers the finishing touches on the Swoosh logos and heel counters.

For an NFL team that has had very little playoff success in most of our lifetimes, the Dolphins still hold much cultural cache. Now is an excellent time for fans to show their loyalty and style with a new pair of sneakers. Stay locked into FanNationKicks.com for all your footwear news.
