All eyes in the college football universe will be glued to the highly anticipated matchup between the Oregon Ducks and Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday. Deion "Coach Prime" Sanders and his upstart Colorado team versus the perennial Pac-12 powerhouse Oregon.

Within a few short weeks, Sanders has infused Colorado with enough star power to light up the entire West Coast. However, Oregon is not to be outdone. Not only does the Nike flagship school like to wear the hottest uniforms, but they plan to debut cleats that literally change colors when they heat up.

On Monday afternoon, Oregon's official social media accounts posted a goosebump-inducing video teasing the unreleased cleats. Fans can watch the 28-second video below to learn more about the Nike Vapor Edge KF Dunk cleats.

From what we can see in the brief video, the cleats have a base color of black with white Swoosh logos and laces. However, once the temperature of the shoe increases, the thermal reactive material on the side panels will change colors. Additionally, Nike co-founder Phil Knight's nickname, "Buck," appears on the back heel tab of the cleats.

Every sneakerhead knows that the Nike Dunk has been the most popular shoe for several years now. Thanks to the innovation that takes place inside the Nike lab, the brand's design team reimaged the old-school basketball shoe as a performance football cleat with cutting-edge materials.

Will the Nike Vapor Edge KF Dunk cleats ever be released to the public? Probably not anytime soon. But the silver lining is that fans can stock up on Oregon Ducks gear on Nike's website. The entire NCAA landscape is already very provincial, and the rise of Colorado's football team is only deepening the divisions among rival fanbases.
