Every professional athlete has their own approach to pregame outfits. Travis Kelce likes to celebrate the city he is in with his wardrobe. That is especially true when the Kansas City Chiefs tight end is making his homecoming to Cleveland, Ohio.

Although Kelce did not play in Week 3 of the NFL preseason, he did use the opportunity to celebrate his hometown. Thanks to the Chiefs' social media team, we got a great look at Kelce's Cleveland-inspired ensemble.

Kelce wore a very affordable outfit consisting mostly of general-release Nike products. The perennial Pro-Bowler wore a 1997 NBA All-Star Game hat (the event was held in Cleveland), a black Nike mock-neck long-sleeve shirt, black Nike woven shorts, and a pair of Nike Air Zoom Generation sneakers.

Of course, our focus is always on the footwear. The Nike Air Zoom Generation is the first sneaker from LeBron James' signature line. It was a chef's kiss on a perfect pregame outfit. Below is what online shoppers need to know about the retro hoop shoes.

The Nike Air Zoom Generation was launched in 2003 during James' rookie season. The old-school basketball shoe has enjoyed a few retro releases in recent years and is currently available in three colorways on the Nike website.

Kelce rocked the 'Court Purple' colorway, which went viral online when James wore the unreleased colorway to an NBA Summer League game in 2018. The shoes feature a purple suede upper, Nike Air technology in the midsole, and a rubber outsole with a herringbone traction pattern.

Without even stepping on the field, Kelce has already dominated the preseason. With the start of the regular season right around the corner, we cannot wait to see what the best tight end in the game wears before his return to action.
