Travis Kelce Wears Zion Williamson's Air Jordans

Travis Kelce wore Zion Williamson's Air Jordan sneakers on the Chiefs' team flight to Phoenix, Arizona.

It is officially Super Bowl week. Since training camps began in August, we have covered the footwear on and off the field for NFL players. Luckily for fans, the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles have more notable sneakerheads than any other team.

On Sunday afternoon, the Chiefs' team plane touched down in Phoenix, Arizona, exactly one week before the game. Naturally, all eyes were on Travis Kelce's feet, and the All-Pro tight end did not disappoint.

Kelce, a Nike-sponsored athlete, wore a pair of classic Air Jordan sneakers. However, they were not just any Jordans. Instead, it was a rare pair of kicks designed in collaboration with New Orleans Pelicans' forward Zion Williamson.

Kelce wore the Zion Williamson x Air Jordan 1 Low in the 'Voodoo' colorway. The shoes were released in November 2022 for $170. According to the sneaker resale website StockX, the shoes now have an average resale price of $259. Below is everything fans must know about the old-school hoop shoes.

A detailed look at the Air Jordan 1 Low / Nike

The Zion Williamson x Air Jordan 1 Low 'Voodoo' looks unlike any other colorway for the classic silhouette. Williamson and Nike's design team set out to design shoes that reflected New Orleans.

The earth-toned shoe features a brown leather upper contrasted with rough overlays containing pale brown, fossil, and oil-green hues. The toe box and quarter paneling are dressed in brown suede. Meanwhile, Zion and voodoo images appear on and under the heels.

No player in the NBA is comparable to Williamson, and the same can be said of his shoes. It is only fitting that Kelce rocks these rare kicks on the team flight from Kansas City to Phoenix. We cannot wait to see what players from both teams wear to State Farm Stadium next Sunday.
